Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you interact with our website:
- Contact information you provide. When you fill out an RSVP form, contact form, or guide-download form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any optional fields you complete (such as guests, age range, or message text).
- Workshop and class registrations. We record which workshop or class you signed up for so we can send you confirmations and reminders.
- Marketing attribution data. When you arrive from a Facebook or Google ad, we capture URL parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and the referring page so we can understand which marketing channels reach our community.
- Cookies and tracking pixels. Our site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook) for advertising measurement and a Netlify session cookie for security. The Meta Pixel records page visits and events so Meta can show you relevant ads and we can measure ad performance.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard server log data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
How We Use Your Information
- Send you a confirmation email when you register for a workshop or class.
- Send you a reminder email or text the day before your scheduled event.
- Respond to your inquiries from the contact form.
- Email you the educational guide (PDF) you requested.
- Inform you about future workshops and classes (you may unsubscribe at any time).
- Measure ad campaign performance and reach similar audiences with our advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our legitimate business interests.
SMS Communications
If you provide your mobile phone number on a form on this site and check the SMS-consent box, you consent to receive a workshop confirmation text and one short reminder text before your scheduled event. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is limited (typically 1-2 messages per registered event). You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you can request help by replying HELP. We do not sell or share your phone number with third-party marketers.
Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to operate our business:
- Airtable — our customer relationship management database (where workshop registrations and contact submissions are stored).
- Make.com — the automation platform that routes form submissions to Airtable and email.
- Google Workspace (Gmail) — the email service used to send you confirmations, reminders, and respond to inquiries.
- Netlify — our website hosting provider.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — for advertising measurement and remarketing. Meta receives hashed contact information for matching purposes only; we do not share names or readable contact details.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time by replying to any email we send and asking to be removed, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails.
- Decline cookies and the Meta Pixel by adjusting your browser settings or installing tracking-blocker extensions.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing mforbes@forbesretirement.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, email us at mforbes@forbesretirement.com.

Our services are intended for adults planning for retirement. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on every page, secure password handling, and access controls on our customer relationship management system. No system is perfectly secure; you transmit information at your own risk.
